The day after a holiday is always hard to get back in the swing of things. Today I decided to break that typical morning after holiday blues by being extra productive. I woke up early and got right to work on tasks that had to be done. This way once I finish them all I will have plenty of time to relax and enjoy myself. Mainly being able to go shopping and craft:) I hope you all enjoyed your fourth and feel rejuvenated and ready to get back on the path of productivity with me:)
I love Throwback Thursdays because they give you the opportunity to see the progress that you have made. Below are my first two quote pages in my first Bullet Journal. I was just starting out with improving my handwriting and the Bullet Journal system as a whole. The system gave me the opportunity to improve myself as a person and I am forever grateful for that. It just shows that if you set your mind to something you can and WILL achieve it. If you have any questions about how to improve your handwriting or the Bullet Journal system shoot me an email, I'd love to chat with you:)
In the month of June I made a big change to my monthly spread. I used to go through a lot of time and draw out every box of the month, but now I simply write the number of the day and the letter of the day. It takes a lot less time and is much more efficient for rapid planning. It just shows how adaptable the Bullet Journal system is for individuals. You have the ability to do whatever you have time for and whatever is easier for you. It's convenient and a great way to get tasks done. Reflect and tweak as much as you want!
Recently the creator of the Bullet Journal system created an app called the Bullet Journal Companion. In the app you can set reminders to do two daily reflections of a minute or so in order to ensure that the system is working for you, and to make sure nothing is not being used that takes a lot of time. It also gives you an opportunity to see the tasks that are coming. Getting a reminder on my phone really helps my daily planning a lot. I believe it's really important that what you're doing in your Bullet Journal isn't taking up too much time and has zero benefits. The companion really helps with that. Another great thing about the companion app is that it has blog posts from other people in the Bullet Journal community. You can see new ideas and see what's working for other people and give them a try. I love being a part of the Bullet Journal community, and I hope you do too, or want to join:)
