Sometimes a simple tee shirt and a matching necklace becomes the perfect outfit of the day. I bought the navy and white striped tee shirt for 95 cents, that's right CENTS, and the necklace for $1.95. I unfortunately could not find this shirt for the retail price, but a huge majority of this company's clothing sells for $50-$70. So finding a shirt of their's for under a dollar is a major score in my book. I bought a few other things at the shop today so look out for those after I finish washing them:)
Arriving at the thrift store as soon as they open is always the best option. That way it's less picked over and you have the most merchandise to look and hunt through. These vans were absolutely a steal! I paid $7.95 for practically brand new shoes and below on the vans website they're posted for a whopping $55-that's a price cut of $47! I'm so excited to rock these bright blue shoes this summer:)
I love going to the thrift store because you find things you wouldn't find anywhere else. This gray shirt was only $3.95 and the necklace was $2.95. It's all about the hunt because the workers try their hardest to jack up the prices and claim that "gently used" means new. So go in with an open mind and don't leave with anything that you don't love! I LOVE DEALS!!!
Some of my favorite things in life include shopping and saving money. Thrift shopping is all about the hunt, finding the best deals, and finding some of the greatest and unique clothes. I'm looking forward to sharing my deals and great finds. Who doesn't love finding great quality for low prices.
