After my post about my painted ball jars, all I wanted to do was make another one! This time instead of a solid look, I decided to take a different approach. Using two colors plus mixing them together to get a third color I created this ocean inspired creation. The colors I used are from AC Moore's Nicole's Multi-Surface collection: powder blue & deep navy. To get the textured appearance that is featured above I used a round sponge brush and dabbed the paint on in sections. If you have any questions feel free to email me:) [email protected]
I have always loved the concept and the appearance of dream catchers, but I never wanted to spend the money on one myself. When browsing on Pinterest, as I do almost daily, I came across this tutorial and I had to give it a whirl. Here's my ATTEMPTSupplies I usedDon't forget to check out if your local craft store has any of these supplies-and bring a coupon!!
As always email me with any [email protected] I have always loved ball jars for some reason. I'm not sure if it's because they have a unique appearance, or because I'm secretly a country girl. When I first stumbled upon people using spray paint or multi surface craft paint to give ball jars a whole new look I had to try it out myself. There is so many color options in multi surface craft paint, I could not believe it. I chose the above colors because they're my top three favorite colors and I'm so happy that they don't clash. They give my drab dorm desk new life and are useful for quick access to pens and any other common supplies I constantly am misplacing. Most times balls jars are under two dollars and the multi surface craft paint is just ninety-nine cents. email me at [email protected] with any questions or Pinterest projects I should give a try.
I love doing projects and creating something from nothing, and this is my place where I can share any of those creations. Having a job at AC Moore also helps to make those project dreams a reality. So look out here for any of my future craft projects and creations.
